Job summary

LINX is hiring a low voltage technician to join a team that handles ISP and OSP work across multiple project sites. You will install, terminate, and test structured cabling, build MDF/IDF closets, and conduct fiber testing with OTDRs and Fluke testers. Strong teamwork, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial low voltage installation experience.
• Experience operating OTDR and Fluke Loss Test equipment for fiber testing.
• Able to terminate a jack, pull cable and work a 90 with no supervision.
• Ability to build out MDF/IDF closets with racks and patch panels.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test structured cabling per standards.
• Build, install, and maintain MDFs and IDFs with hardware.
• Perform fiber testing and certification with OTDR/Fluke testers.
• Travel to job sites nationwide and work 2nd/3rd shifts as needed.
• Provide professional customer service and ensure safety compliance.
