Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking dedicated Level II RT and Level II MT, PT, UTT Technicians willing to travel for projects and turnarounds. Applicants must supply evidence of high school education and advanced NDT training, with Level II certification experience or Level I with sufficient field hours to upgrade.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, documentation, and coordination of trainee work. Candidate will work in a demanding environment, requiring familiarity with codes, standards, and safety

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for MT/PT/UTT.
• Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one year experience or prior Level I with field hours to certify to Level II per SNT-TC1A.
• Demonstrate competencies in problem solving, communication, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Direct the work of trainees and Level I personnel.
• Familiar with codes, standards and contract documents controlling the method.
