Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a Training and Development professional to deliver education experiences across districts and functions. The role includes consulting with partners, designing materials, and coordinating schedules to improve learning outcomes.

The position requires a master facilitator mindset, five years of training experience, and strong communication; travel may be required and collaboration with leadership is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in human resource management, education, or related field or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years’ experience in training facilitation and coaching
• Master facilitator or presenter with experience developing other senior facilitators and trainers
• Professional certification in coaching, leadership development or other related discipline (preferred)
• Advanced analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Operations technology systems
• Must be able to work with employees and management across all levels
• Ability to work independently and as a team member

Responsibilities

• Facilitate virtual and in-person instructor led classes and specialty training assignments (i.e. operation certifications, technical training, etc.)
• Identify learning needs, prescribe, and deliver education and training plans
• Evaluate the effectiveness of education solutions as measured by operational tools and reports
• Develop strategies and/or models to monitor education solutions for sustainable learning transfer
• Lead and coordinate Train-the-Trainer workshops for Delivery team readiness
• Mentor and coach Learning & Development Specialists and Sr. Specialists
• Provide support to leadership level across all the regions
• May provide support to international counterparts based on business needs request
• Develop and present education strategies, proposals, and outcomes to senior leadership
• Work closely with instructional designers and developers, providing insight to promote deeper learning transfer
• Lead and/or participate on committees or projects as assigned
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
• Perform other assignments (duties) as required
