Job summary

Communication Technology Services (CTS) seeks a Lead DAS Technician III to head on-site installation teams in Greenbelt, MD, with full-time travel across the U.S. You will supervise CTS technicians and subcontractors while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires 3–5+ years in DAS or wireless infra, ability to travel 100%, and proven leadership in field deployments. Competitive benefits provided; pay rate $30–$36/hr, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of DAS installation or equivalent wireless infra experience.
• Must be able to pass federal background checks.
• Must be fully willing and able to travel 100% for regional and national deployments.
• Experience leading installation crews in commercial wireless environments.
• Strong knowledge of coaxial cable installation and termination.
• Experience pulling, terminating, and testing fiber optic cable.
• Experience performing PIM and Sweep testing.
• Reading and interpreting iBwave design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation crews on DAS, Small Cell, and Private Wireless projects across the United States.
• Travel full-time (100%) to customer sites nationwide.
• Supervise, mentor, and direct technicians and apprentices during all installation phases.
• Ensure installations meet CTS quality, safety, and customer standards.
• Manage daily project progress and communicate status to Field and Project Managers.
• Coordinate material handling, inventory, and job site organization.
• Perform site walks for small venues and retail locations.
• Read iBwave design docs and installation drawings.
