Job summary

Sharp Spoon Network is seeking Traveling Kitchen Assistants to support disaster-response kitchen operations across the country. You will work alongside professional chefs in high-volume settings, traveling nationwide for deployments.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of professional fine-dining experience, solid prep and plating skills, and a strong commitment to food safety. Expect 12-hour shifts, lodging during deployments, and per diem.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional fine-dining experience.
• Hands-on food prep or kitchen support in a professional kitchen.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and handle 12-hour shifts.
• Willingness to complete background screening and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with food preparation, portioning, plating, and meal service.
• Prepare ingredients and support high-volume breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workstations.
• Support dishwashing, stocking, food storage, and kitchen setup.
• Follow food safety procedures and work closely with culinary leadership.
