Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Journeyman Electrician 1 to work under a Foreman or Superintendent, and may oversee a small crew. The role involves installation, alterations and repair of electrical systems, with growth opportunities across divisions of Amteck.

Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical construction, be able to work weekends/overtime, and demonstrate safe, team-focused participation.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to read and understand project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Mentor and lead Helpers and Apprentices on site.
• Demonstrates basic mechanical aptitude and mathematical ability.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and lay out electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and conductors.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit and related materials.
• Lead and mentor junior crew on the job site.
• Read project drawings and perform basic troubleshooting of circuits.
