Job summary

GrowthWise Search Partners seeks Traveling Journeyman Electrician for large commercial projects. This is a W2 role with overtime at 1.5x and per diem for eligible employees, offering stability and benefits. Pay ranges $45–$48 per hour, with potential weekly earnings around $4,000.

Travel to sites, perform electrical installs, read blueprints, and mentor apprentices. Must have a valid Journeyman license and hands-on commercial/industrial experience; NEC code knowledge required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• Hands-on experience on commercial or industrial electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical regulations.
• Experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Ability to pass required pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial/industrial projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Perform layout and complete electrical installations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Ensure work complies with NEC, safety regs, and project specs.
• Mentor Apprentices in the field as needed.
