Job summary

GrowthWise Search Partners seeks a Traveling Journeyman Electrician to perform hands-on electrical work on site at commercial and industrial projects. You will travel to multiple sites, reading plans and wiring systems under supervision, with a focus on safety and NEC compliance.

The position is a W2 employee with overtime opportunities and per diem eligibility. Expect to work six 10-hour days with competitive pay that reflects travel requirements.

Qualifications

• You have hands-on experience performing commercial or industrial electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical regulations.
• You can read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial projects (EMT 3/4” and 1”).
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, schematics, and diagrams.
• Perform layout and complete electrical installations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Ensure electrical work complies with NEC requirements, safety regulations, and project specs.
• Help direct and train Electrical Apprentices in the field as needed.
