Job summary

WOCS - Wendy’s is seeking an IT Field Tech to install and support networks across 198+ locations in nine states, reporting to the Director of IT. The role involves troubleshooting Windows workstations, supporting NCR Aloha POS, and performing onsite visits as needed.

Candidates should be comfortable with travel (likely 1–2 weeks at a time), remote access, cabling, and basic network concepts. Prior POS experience and A+ certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 workstations and laptops.
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially NCR Aloha.
• Basic TCP/IP networking and Wi‑Fi knowledge.
• Experience using remote access and help desk tools.

Responsibilities

• Support NCR Aloha POS systems at 198+ locations.
• Provide phone, remote, and onsite user support.
• Repair and upgrade computers and laptops; build/deploy systems as needed.
• Install software per IT specifications.
• On-call for after-hours remote/onsite support (weekends).
• Install and terminate network and camera cabling; support network cabinets.
