Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking an HVAC/Telecom Technician to perform field service maintenance, remedial, and emergency repair on HVAC equipment for telecom and data centers. Travel M-F with a company vehicle and on-call availability are required.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing cooling systems, installing ductwork, and testing electrical and piping connections to ensure professional, safe operation. Training is provided and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electrical ladder schematics.
• Strong HVAC systems knowledge including pumps, dry coolers, and cooling towers.
• Ability to travel M-F with weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain commercial cooling systems on telecom equipment.
• Perform maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment.
• Install or replace heating and air conditioning systems in shelters.
• Test electrical circuits and plumbing connections for leaks.
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
