Job summary

NKT is seeking a Traveling Jointer/Splicer to install and repair medium and high-voltage cable systems across the US and internationally. You will splice, terminate and test cables at customer sites, supporting project planning and safety compliance while traveling 75-100% of the time.

Work spans utilities, renewables and heavy industry in varied environments, from indoor to outdoor and remote locations. A valid driver’s license and readiness for extended travel are required.

• Prepare cables and accessories according to NKT quality specifications
• Perform fault location, electrical testing and result interpretation
• Follow safety programs, permits and tailboard or Take 5 processes
• Operate company vehicles and specialized equipment safely
