Zusammenfassung

NKT is seeking a Traveling Jointer/Splicer to install and repair medium and high-voltage cable systems across the US and internationally. This role blends hands-on jointing, electrical testing, strong safety discipline and extensive travel to sites in utilities, renewables and industrial sectors.

Candidates will splice, terminate and repair HV cables, interpret drawings, and uphold quality and OSHA standards. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel 75–100% are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a Cable Splicer/Jointer or Lineman with medium or high-voltage installations and repairs.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and circuit maps.
• Comfort using basic Microsoft programs (Outlook/Teams) for field reporting and team communication.

Aufgaben

• Splice, terminate and repair medium and high-voltage cables.
• Prepare cables and accessories according to quality specs.
• Perform fault location and electrical testing; interpret results.
• Follow safety programs, permits and take 5/Tailboard processes.
• Operate company vehicles and specialized equipment safely.
