Job summary

NKT is seeking a Traveling Jointer/Splicer to install and repair medium and high-voltage cable systems across the US and abroad. You will splice, terminate, and repair cables, perform electrical testing, and support planning and reporting on diverse job sites.

Travel 75-100% of the time, at customer sites including indoor, outdoor, and sometimes remote locations. Safety and quality are prioritized in this dynamic, international role.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel extensively and across the US and internationally.
• Knowledge of HV cable installation, repair and testing processes.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA standards.
• Good communication with colleagues and customers during field work.

Responsibilities

• Splice, terminate and repair medium/high-voltage cables.
• Prepare cables and accessories per quality specs.
• Perform fault location, testing and interpretation of results.
• Follow safety programs, permits, and daily reporting.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely in various locations.
