Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Traveling Registered Nurse to provide expert home health care across multiple sites in the United States. This role requires delivering routine and emergency assessments, educating patients and caregivers, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.

Assignments are typically 8–13 weeks, with potential home program work in between. The RN will uphold Compassus values and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum of one year of nursing practice or equivalent experience preferred.
• Home Health, hospice, oncology, and/or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned program locations based on need for 8–13 week assignments.
• Perform routine and emergency assessments and coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers and document care at the bedside.
• Collaborate with Hospice IDT and medical staff to alleviate symptoms.
• Supervise licensed staff and assist with onboarding when needed.
