Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Traveling Registered Nurse to provide home health nursing across multiple programs. The role requires RN licensure, adaptation to a flexible schedule, and the ability to travel to assigned locations for 8-13 week assignments.

You will educate patients and caregivers, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality symptom management in patients’ homes. The position involves collaboration with Hospice IDT and various care disciplines, along with

Qualifications

RN license in state(s) of employment is required or must be obtained.
Minimum of one year of nursing practice or equivalent experience preferred.
Home health, hospice, oncology, and/or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Travels to assigned program locations for 8-13 week assignments.
Admits patients and performs routine and emergency assessments as per policy.
May act as preceptor to onboard and train new team members.
Meets productivity standards and is available for visits during normal hours.
Coordinates care with PT/OT/MSW/HHA as indicated by Plan of Care.
Documents bedside observations, treatments, and other pertinent information.
Communicates with Hospice IDT, Medical Director, and Attending Physician regarding symptom management.
