Job summary

Walsh Reclamation is seeking a heavy equipment operator to excavate, grade, and move earth across Nevada job sites. You will perform daily inspections, basic maintenance, and coordinate with crew while upholding safety procedures.

Candidates should have MSHA certification (or obtain it before starting), be able to navigate rugged terrain without GPS, and work well independently or in a team. Travel to remote sites and OT are expected with benefits including insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• MSHA certification or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Ability to navigate mountain terrain without GPS or survey guide.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy machinery—excavators, bulldozers, motor graders, backhoes, skid steers, loaders—to excavate, grade and move earth and materials.
• Performs daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance (fueling, greasing).
• Coordinates safely with ground crew and other operators and follows site safety procedures.
• Keeps equipment clean and in good working order.
