Job summary

Walsh Reclamation Inc seeks a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to support mining and reclamation projects. You will operate excavators, bulldozers, graders, backhoes, skid steers, and loaders, and perform daily inspections and preventive upkeep.

Travel to Nevada job sites is required. MSHA certification (or the ability to obtain) is needed, with compensation $20.00–$40.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• MSHA certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Ability to navigate mountain terrain without GPS or survey guide.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery to excavate, grade, and move earth and materials.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Coordinate safely with ground crew and other operators.
• Follow site safety procedures and keep equipment clean.
