Job summary

RES is seeking a Craft – Operator, Forklift to perform general operator duties at the project site. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to site procedures while handling multiple heavy and light machines.

The position requires operating equipment such as backhoes, loaders, cranes, and dozers, with travel required across domestic sites. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 0–2 years of related experience, plus a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years’ experience with backhoe, loader, roller and road truck required.
• 1+ years with blade, excavator and dozer preferred.
• 1+ years with crane and trencher preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically 76–100%.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy and light equipment safely and per procedures.
• Inspect loads and monitor equipment, fuel usage and hour usage.
• Perform pre-inspections and report deficiencies daily.
• Work on varied terrain and assess site requirements.
• Follow safety practices and participate in JHAs.
• Support and lead safety and quality on site.
• For crane role, calculate capacities and organize rigging/hoisting tasks.
• Maintain equipment and notify management of malfunctions.
• Maintain interior cab cleanliness and proper operation.
