Job summary

RES is seeking an Operator for heavy equipment to safely operate backhoes, loaders, cranes, blades, excavators and dozers at project sites. The role requires travel across domestic sites (76–100%) and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Per diem is provided for lodging, meals and travel during rotations. Responsibilities include inspecting loads, reporting condition of equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years’ experience with backhoe, loader, roller and road truck.
• 1+ years with blade, excavator and dozer preferred.
• 1+ years with crane and trencher preferred.
• Must travel domestically 76-100%.
• Safety training and adherence to rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate light and heavy equipment safely according to procedures.
• Inspect loads and monitor equipment; report maintenance needs.
• Perform basic maintenance such as greasing and cleaning.
• Maintain organized job site and assist with rigging and hoisting where applicable.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in Job Hazard Analyses before work.
