Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an experienced Superintendent 2 for a traveling role within the National Healthcare Division. You will plan, manage, and execute complex projects, overseeing materials, equipment, and people while ensuring timely, profitable completion.

This role requires up to 100% travel and close coordination with owners, design teams, and field staff. Candidates should have 5+ years in construction, 3+ years in supervision, and a Bachelor’s degree in CM/engineering or related field

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred in CM/engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction experience with 3+ years field supervision preferred.
• Experience with Lean principles and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff to maintain an injury‑free environment.
• Manage subcontractors and overall workflow on project.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans, manage project site logistics, and track progress.
• Coordinate meetings, updates, and reporting; manage project schedule.
• Monitor budgets and costs; ensure quality compliance and closeouts.
