Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Traveling Superintendent 2 for our National Healthcare Division. You will plan, manage, and execute assigned projects with complex scopes, overseeing materials, equipment, people, and documentation to ensure timely and profitable completion.

Expect extensive travel across the country to project sites while upholding JE Dunn’s values. You’ll lead safety programs, manage subcontractors, coordinate meetings, and drive schedule and cost control in collaboration with

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean principles (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel (up to 100%).

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, and safety, QA/QC, EEO programs.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Manage project site care, custody, and control.
• Lead meetings (standups, trade, OAC).
• Create and adjust project schedule with PM.
• Track budget and costs using cost reports.
• Communicate project info to owners and teams.
• Support project closeouts and pre-punch activities.
