Engtal is seeking a Healthcare Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities for healthcare facilities, renovations, and additions. The role involves coordinating permits, risk assessments, infection control, and ensuring safety and quality across projects.

The successful candidate will lead meetings with owners, architects, and subcontractors, manage schedules and budgets, and travel as needed to project sites across multiple states.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare construction superintendent experience preferred.
• Experience with concrete, framing, finish carpentry, and general construction practices.
• Familiarity with construction management software and standard computer applications.
• Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel to projects as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction activities, schedules, budgets, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate healthcare-specific requirements, including work permits, preconstruction risk assessments, and infection control procedures.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
• Lead jobsite meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors, and inspectors.
• Monitor construction quality, productivity, and project timelines.
• Communicate regularly with project managers and office leadership.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, daily reports, photos, and other records.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications and safety standards.
