Engtal seeks a seasoned Healthcare Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site construction of healthcare facilities, renovations, and additions. You will manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractors across multi-state projects while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires reading drawings, coordinating permits, and infection control measures, with travel to sites as needed. A strong leadership and communication style is essential for success on complex healthcare projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare construction superintendent experience preferred.
• Experience with concrete, framing, finish carpentry, and general construction practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
• Familiarity with construction management software and standard computer applications.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and instructions.
• Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel to projects as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction activities, schedules, budgets, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate healthcare-specific requirements, permits, risk assessments, and infection control.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
• Lead jobsite meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors, and inspectors.
• Monitor quality, productivity, and project timelines.
• Communicate regularly with project managers and office leadership.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, daily reports, photos, and records.
• Ensure work complies with specifications and safety standards.
