Aventura Healthcare Group is seeking a Traveling Chef Manager to provide culinary and managerial support across locations. The role requires leading staff, maintaining sanitation, and ensuring state compliance while traveling 50–55 hours per week.

The ideal candidate has healthcare experience, a passion for hospitality, and strong leadership. You will manage kitchen operations, pivot as needed, and collaborate with the dietary manager to maintain high-quality food service.

Qualifications

• Understanding of therapeutic and modified diets and preparation.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience.
• Passion for hospitality to guests and staff.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Self-motivated team player with a do-what-it-takes attitude.
• Able to pivot quickly and adapt in all situations.
• Leads and develops staff with strong communication and composure.
• Maintains high sanitation standards and safe work environment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare all food items in a sanitary and timely manner according to recipes.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and clean station, ensure safety and sanitation.
• Assist in cleaning and organizing kitchen and equipment.
• Place and store food orders as needed.
• Provide relief to Dietary Manager and cover managerial duties when required.
• Restock items during shifts; adhere to sanitation and production codes.
