Job summary

Qualifications

• One year work experience in preschool or child care preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must complete annual training hours per Head Start/DHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teacher in planning and implementing weekly lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records on each child.
• Support education across Head Start components and family involvement.
• Communicate with supervisor, staff, volunteers, and partners.
• Travel between classrooms and counties served as needed.
