Job summary

Upper Des Moines Opportunity, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Head Start Preschool Assistant Teacher to support positive teacher-child interactions and assist in implementing planned classroom activities at Hartley Head Start, with travel to Sibley, Sheldon and Milford.

The schedule is approximately 40 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. Candidates should have a minimum high school diploma, with a Preschool CDA credential obtainable within two years. Salary ranges from $14.83 to $18.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED with the ability to secure a Preschool CDA credential.
• Head Start Assistant Teachers must obtain a CDA within two years of hire.
