Loftin Equipment Co. is seeking a Traveling Generator Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, load bank testing, and start-up commissioning on generator equipment across multiple western states.

The role emphasizes safety, independent work, and strong problem-solving abilities. Candidates should have 3+ years of generator experience (Level 2) or 5+ years (Level 3), a high school diploma, and willingness to travel up to 75% with overnight stays.

Formación

• 3+ years of generator technician experience for Level 2; 5+ years for Level 3.
• Must meet Level 2+ requirements on Loftin Technician Qualification Card.
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in generator/electrical tech preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance, load bank testing, and start-up commissioning on power generation equipment.
• Travel extensively across Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas with overnight stays.
• Document service reports and time entries the same day as work performed.
• Provide technical support to customers and dealers in person, by phone, or in the field.
