Role Summary

The General Superintendent will develop and execute project plans, oversee all aspects of complex projects, manage teams, plan construction sequencing, and ensure project goals are met, all aligned with JE Dunn's strategy, vision, and values.

This role requires travel and full-time on-site presence for assigned projects across the United States.

Key Responsibilities - Core

• Lead safety culture, promote an injury-free environment, and investigate safety incidents.
• Manage subcontractors, organize project workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs like Safety, Quality, and EEO.
• Develop work plans and coordinate project site activities.
• Lead meetings, manage project schedules, and monitor budgets.
• Communicate with stakeholders, manage documentation, and ensure quality standards.
• Support project closeouts, participate in project planning, and manage project changes.
• Recruit top talent, promote diversity and inclusion.

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage large, complex projects from planning to completion.
• Lead multiple projects and strategic initiatives.
• Develop training content and deliver leadership messages.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong communication, construction management fundamentals, relationship building.
• Proficiency in MS Office, project management software, construction technology, scheduling software.
• Knowledge of trades, self-perform work, budget management, layout, crane flagging, productivity rates.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu.
• 12+ years construction experience, 10+ years supervision, experience with lean principles and high-tech projects preferred.

Working Environment

• Valid driver's license required.
