Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a Travelling Forklift Operator in San Diego, CA. You will move equipment and loads between inbound and outbound docks, supporting cross-docking operations to minimize storage and accelerate delivery.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 0-3 years of driving/logistics experience, and a valid driver's license (forklift certification preferred). Role requires outdoor work, 100% travel, and safety-first operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate yard vehicles to transfer bins, vans, trailers, and tanker trucks.
• Support cross-docking by positioning inbound/outbound equipment for quick unloading/reloading.
• Ensure wheel chocks and jack stands are in place before transport.
• Review MSDS/ manifests when handling hazardous materials.
• Respond to and clean spills using proper safety protocols.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections for safe operation.
• Placard and stage equipment per storage requirements.
• Navigate tight yard environments while obeying speed limits and rules.
