Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. seeks a Traveling IL Psychologist to join the Sexually Violent Persons (SVP) program. This remote position travels to facilities across Illinois to conduct evaluations, reviews, and reporting under the SVP Act.

The role requires a clinical psychology degree (PhD/PsyD), Illinois license, and experience with risk assessment tools. Travel is moderate with occasional overnights; state licensure and SBOM certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Three years in treatment and/or evaluation of sex offenders.
• Familiarity with DSM-IV-TR.
• Knowledge of risk instruments: Static-99/99R, Static-2002, MnSOST-R, STABLE-2000, ACUTE-2000.

Responsibilities

• Screen SVP cases for evaluation eligibility.
• Review case files and conduct offender interviews.
• Complete actuarial instruments (Static-99R, MnSOST, PCL-R).
• Prepare evaluation reports as Referral or Non-Referral.
• Provide expert testimony in court proceedings.
