Job summary

Stout Building Contractors is seeking a Traveling Foreman to work alongside the onsite Superintendent, ensuring safety, schedule and resources stay on track wherever the project takes you. You will lead by example on the ground, communicate clearly with all team members, and adapt to new jobsites and crews as the footprint expands across the Intermountain West and beyond.

Required is a high school diploma or GED, with 1+ years as a foreman/supervisor in construction.

Qualifications

• Reading plans and applying building codes on the fly.
• Strong organizational skills to juggle priorities.
• Clear, confident communication with project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with onsite Superintendent to keep safety, schedule and resources on track.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Plan and manage day‑to‑day construction tasks per project priorities.
• Resolve issues to keep the job moving forward.
• Coordinate labor and resources to maintain crew productivity.
• Verify form dimensions before concrete pours.
• Schedule inspections and perform hands‑on work when needed.
• Run errands for jobsite supplies and tools.
