Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. in the Minneapolis area seeks a Project Specialist to maintain floors (hard surfaces and carpet) across area stores, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and extraction.

You will train onsite staff in cleaning techniques and work under limited supervision with other Building Maintenance team members. The role requires overnight travel to multiple retail locations within the region, reliable transportation, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• One year as site lead or equivalent experience from another company.
• Knowledge of sweeping, mopping, burnishing, waxing and stripping methods for retail or institutional sites.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel between stores in the assigned area.
• Ability to read and write either Spanish or English.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project work in area stores, such as stripping and waxing floors, carpet extracting and detail work.
• Move from location to location, covering for onsite staff vacancies in area stores.
• Train cleaners in job skills, proper cleaning methods and equipment usage; ensure safety practices.
• Communicate problems to supervisor and report injuries and equipment shortages.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement and adhere to company policies.
