Job summary

Zohorecruit in Andover, MN seeks a Fleet Mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel and gas-powered vehicles. This is a full-time, travel-heavy role requiring overnight stays and on-site work at customer sites across the Northeast.

Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL, pass DMV and background checks, and complete a DOT physical. Safety-conscious, independent, and able to use diagnostic software and fleet maintenance tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass motor vehicle and criminal background checks.
• Must complete and pass a DOT physical.
• Travel availability for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose diesel and gas engines and related systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment.
• Travel to job sites and vendor locations for on-site service.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and fleet software to track repairs.
• Maintain safety and OSHA-compliant work practices.
• Document maintenance in the fleet management system.
• Monitor parts inventory and assist in ordering as needed.
