Job summary

LSS Life Safety Services seeks a traveling Firestop Technician to inspect, install and repair firestop materials across commercial and healthcare facilities in the United States. You will ensure compliance with NFPA standards and document outcomes for customers.

The role requires carpentry/construction experience, ability to travel 100%, OSHA-10 (or willingness to obtain), and strong communication with clients. Tools and a professional approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Travel across the U.S. for assignments.
• Inspect, install and repair firestop per NFPA codes.
• Provide documentation for code compliance.
• Maintain professional communication with customers.
• Attend job training sessions.
• Experience in carpentry or construction is a plus.
• OSHA 10 or willingness to obtain.
• Must provide own tools and be able to travel.
• Read life-safety drawings.
• Customer service experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Inspect firewalls per NFPA code and ensure compliance.
• Install and repair firestop materials as required.
