Job summary

SIEBTECHNIK Tema Cincinnati seeks a Field Service Technician with extensive rotating equipment experience. You will tear down, inspect, quote, and rebuild gearboxes in the shop and travel to customer plants for field work, ensuring uptime and direct customer contact.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience maintaining rotating equipment (engines, gearboxes, pumps, turbines).
• Willing to travel 65–75% and handle breakdowns on weekends/holidays as needed.
• Comfortable presenting and reporting to customers, with clear written service notes.

Responsibilities

• In first 12 months, tear down, inspect, quote and rebuild gearboxes in shop.
• Travel to customer plants for field work and return with machines running and contacts.
• Build deep equipment knowledge and apply tolerancing, stack-ups and gear-train familiarity in real jobs.
• Be the primary contact when a plant goes down and coordinate with senior technicians.
