Job summary

Interblock is seeking a Field Service Technician in Columbus, OH to install, service, and upgrade luxury electronic gaming systems at casinos and gaming properties. You will travel within the territory, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with site requirements.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to pass background checks for casino licensing, and comfort working in fast-paced casino environments with on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean DMV driving record.
• At least 21 years old.
• Ability to pass drug screening and a thorough background check to obtain a casino gaming license.
• Ability to frequently travel in the assigned territory.
• Ability to work under pressure and be self-motivated.
• Ability to demonstrate independent initiative, sound judgement, and collaboration with others.
• Strong communication skills and great attention to detail.
• Ability to interact with colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical order forms.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed (short notice, on-call, weekends, holidays, overtime).

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, preparation, removal, conversion, service, preventive maintenance, and upgrading of gaming systems in the field.
• Set up game options and tests including hardware, software, and interfaces to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Schedule and perform activities in the assigned territory.
• Respond to customer issues and involve the senior technician when needed.
• Document repair, preventive maintenance, and pre-site work; maintain records.
• Identify and coordinate ordering of parts when needed.
• Follow policies and perform tasks with/without supervision.
• Document services and installations with accurate records.
• Troubleshoot and report issues to management.
• Educate customers on basic game functionality.
• Maintain a positive image of Interblock Gaming with customers and coworkers.
• Adapt to different jurisdictions and interface with compliance officers.
• Other duties as assigned.
