Job summary

Runwise, a fast-growing New York City energy startup, is seeking a Traveling Associate Field Technician who will service buildings and support lead technicians with installations and site work. The role requires travel, strong electrical skills, and the ability to work independently or with teams.

You must have 2+ years of electrical experience or a trade school focus, obtain OSHA 30, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical experience or recently graduated from a trade school with an emphasis on electrical systems.
• Must obtain OSHA 30 immediately upon hiring.
• Working knowledge of the NEC and electrical codes.
• Driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Carry materials and tools to/from the work vehicle.
• Assist the lead technician in running sensor wires in boiler rooms.
• Maintain a clean work area, equipment and vehicles.
• Make low voltage connections for the network and install space sensors.
• Travel up to 70% of the time to client sites.
