Job summary

Building & Earth Sciences, Inc. is seeking FIELD TECHNICIANS who are willing to travel to long-term remote projects nationwide. Valid driver's license, clean MVR, and a good background check are required.

Pay starts at $19 per hour with per diem, company truck and fuel card, and a full benefits package including PTO. Responsibilities include sampling, collection and testing, field observations, and documenting activities on soil, concrete, grout, mortar and asphalt.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level I Certification.
• Portable Nuclear Gauge Safety Training Certification.
• Understanding of Proctor Compaction Test and USCS Soil Classification.
• Trained in One-Point Proctor testing in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests, inspections and field observations with some supervision.
• Submit daily field reports documenting testing and observations.
• Document and communicate non-conforming items to supervision.
• Calibrate and maintain assigned equipment per codes and standards.
• Transport and operate a nuclear density gauge following safety guidelines.
