Zusammenfassung

MTC Traveling Field Technicians perform QA testing of concrete and related materials at remote project sites. After completing tests, results are documented and communicated to client field representatives, with reports submitted for review and processing.

With guidance from the Project Manager, the technician assists with deficiency resolution. Training at the MTC office precedes travel to site locations for 3 weeks to 6 months at a time, with potential local work between longer assignments.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree with a science focus is helpful.
• Construction Materials Testing experience including MCA or ACI certification: 1 year (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Regular lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to travel and stay overnight for non-local projects for weeks to months at a time.

• Perform all necessary concrete and density testing.
• Complete daily report of observation and accurately record test results.
• Monitor work procedures for compliance with project specifications.
• Professional communication with client representatives at project sites.
• Recording and communication of deviations to the project supervisor and client.
• Proper maintenance of equipment.
• Perform other duties or functions as assigned or requested; coordinate schedule with coworker and monitor independent schedule.
