Job summary

Reiser is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair packaging and processing machinery. The role requires strong electro-mechanical skills, customer-facing interaction, and 60-80% travel within the region to visit food production facilities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in equipment maintenance, the ability to read schematics, and comfort working in a dynamic, hands-on environment. Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Food processing or packaging machinery experience is a plus.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Comfortable with 60-80% travel during the week – in region by automobile or plane.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are an added bonus.

Responsibilities

• Upon hire, you will enter the Reiser FIRST program that provides extensive training on our flagship product line(s).
• Install new packaging and processing machinery and perform routine maintenance and on-site repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues by applying your expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Spend approximately 60-80% of your time traveling within an assigned region to visit food production facilities, helping customers optimize their equipment.
• Train customers in preventive maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly and effectively.
• Participate as necessary in new projects to install or improve the safety and performance of existing and new equipment.
