Job summary

Russells Technical Products is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site installations, start-ups, preventative maintenance, and performance testing at customer facilities across the region after a training period at our Holland, Michigan facility.

The role includes training customers, troubleshooting refrigeration, electronics and electro-mechanical systems, traveling weekly with a provided vehicle and 100% travel time paid, and maintaining service logs and expense reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years work experience or training in commercial / industrial refrigeration or HVAC/R (HVAC/R)
• Experience with electronics and controls programming
• Work experience in a related service capacity

Responsibilities

• Perform field installations and start-ups, preventative maintenance, inspect/conduct performance tests and document installed product performance
• Conduct training and instruct users in operation and maintenance of our products
• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate refrigeration, electronics, and electro-mechanical components
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and coordinate service calls
• Maintain knowledge of warranty, maintenance and service policies
• Maintain vehicle logs, maintenance schedules and travel expense reports
