Job summary

Insight Global is seeking Field Service Engineers to join a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer. You will travel to customer sites to install equipment, designate tool sets in the first 15 days, and undergo 3 weeks of training in the first month.

After training, expect travel every 6–8 weeks with admin weeks at home to support ongoing installations, troubleshooting, repairs and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel 6–8 weeks with periodic admin weeks.
• Strong troubleshooting with ability to explain maintenance steps.
• Know-how of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience using a multimeter for continuity, amperage, voltage, resistance.
• Experience with a torque wrench.
• Familiar with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) process.
• Experience with robotic equipment.
• U.S. military experience in Avionics, Electronics or Vehicle Tech.

Responsibilities

• Install semiconductor equipment at customer sites.

Insight Global is looking for Field Service Engineers to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This individual will be responsible for traveling to different sites to do installations of the equipment. The first 15 days they will designate what tool set they will be working on and what customers they will be helping do installations for. From there, the first 30 days they will be scheduled for a 3 week training. They will then be traveling every 6-8 weeks to different locations to install the equipment, where they will go home after week 6 each time for an admin week. On top of installations, they will be assisting in troubleshooting, repairs and routine maintenance on the equipment.

Skills and Requirements

• Comfortable with 80% travelo They will be traveling for 6-8 weeks to do the installs – They will come home every 6 weeks for an admin week then fly back out
• Strong troubleshooting skills - ability to speak on thought process on maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Experience using a Multimeter - Continuity Checks, Amperage, Voltage, Resistance
• Experience working with a torque wrench
