Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer. The role focuses on assembling and installing equipment at customer locations, following SOPs, and ensuring full system functionality in a cleanroom environment with PPE.

Travel will be heavy (90–100%) during training and installation, with post-training duties in PHX. Candidates should have hands-on maintenance experience, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and be willing to pass

Qualifications

• 2 years hands-on maintenance or repair experience
• Proficient with mechanical hand tools (torque wrenches, socket sets, pliers, screwdrivers, measuring and inspection tools)
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience with PPE and willingness to wear fab bunny suit daily
• Valid Driver's License
• Military experience—heavy machinery or technician work
• Semiconductor industry experience
• Experience working with/troubleshooting robotic equipment

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install new equipment at customer locations
• Complete system hook-ups and verify functionality
• Travel 90–100% during training and for installation
• Work in a cleanroom environment with PPE
• Support equipment throughout the installation process
