ProAutomated Inc. is seeking adventurous engineers for a travel-heavy role to keep automation projects moving across North America. You’ll partner with system integrators and manufacturers to ensure dependable startup, testing, and deployment in critical environments.

Starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000, with per diem, mileage, and performance-based bonuses. Expect paid training, growth opportunities, and a supportive, people-first team culture.

Qualifications

• Travel-friendly role requiring rotation away from home.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and networking basics.
• Adaptability and grit to handle changing plans and challenges.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Technical degree or 3+ years hands-on experience in a related field.

Responsabilités

• Support data center startups, performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate their systems on-site.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth and accurate.
• Typical travel rotations follow a days on - off schedule: 5 on - 2 off, 10 on – 4 off, or 14 on – 7 off.
• Every project brings new challenges and new locations.
• Work with various customers, gaining real-world experience with large companies, while supported by ProAutomated.
