Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. is seeking travel-ready engineers to support data center startups and systems installations across North America. This field role requires on-site work, quick problem-solving, and clear customer communication.

You’ll undergo four weeks of paid training to build foundational electrical, programming, and networking skills. Starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 depending on location, education, and experience, with per diem, mileage reimbursement, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• A technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical or automation engineering.
• 3+ years in a related field.
• Willingness to travel and be away from home on rotation.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site checks (mechanical, electrical, and control).
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams to keep progress transparent.
