ProAutomated is seeking curious, adaptable problem-solvers for a travel-heavy field role across North America. You’ll join a close-knit team that knows your name and works with system integrators to ensure flawless startup and testing.

Starting salary is $60,000–$75,000, with per diem, mileage reimbursement, bonuses, and a growth path. Four-week paid training builds a solid foundation in electrical systems, programming, and networking, plus a 5% raise after six months.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Technical degree or equivalent practical training in related field.
• Basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and networking.
• Willing to travel and work at customer sites across North America.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Test, troubleshoot, and validate systems with engineers on-site.
• Communicate progress clearly to customers and project teams.
• Travel rotations: 5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off.
