Job summary

MasTec’s Lemartec division seeks a Jr. Project Engineer to provide technical engineering information to Project Manager and supervisors, ensuring design and construction meet standards and specifications.

You will support project controls (cost, schedule, estimating) and oversee subcontractors to keep projects on track. The role involves heavy field work, travel up to 100%, and collaboration across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process plant systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of construction experience.
• Prior experience with data center projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand drawings and specifications for mechanical scope.
• Plan and develop construction work packages for multiple systems.
• Support Project Controls with cost, scheduling, and estimating.
• Assist in QA/QC duties per the Field Engineering Handbook.
• Coordinate crafts and manage subcontractor progress.
