Job summary

Lemartec Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer (MEP) to provide technical engineering information to the Project Manager, Craft Supervisors, and Corporate Functional Managers, ensuring design development and construction work complies with engineering standards and codes. The role also supports project controls and subcontract oversight.

Travel across the US is up to 100%, supporting projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of construction experience; MEP exposure preferred.
• Strong understanding of design, codes, standards relevant to industrial construction.

Responsibilities

• Understand drawings and specifications for industrial construction and prepare field design change requisitions and as-built drawings as required.
• Comprehend subcontract language, scope, terms and technical requirements.
• Plan and develop construction work packages for civil and process plant systems.
• Understand detailed project schedules including required predecessors and successors to each activity.
• Support the Construction Manager in analyzing and reporting daily subcontractor progress.
• Coordinate craft production, and release work to meet subcontract and project schedules.
• Provide support to Project Controls in cost, scheduling, and estimating activities.
