Gray Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to support on-site construction activities on diverse projects across the United States, including Lexington, KY.

The role focuses on supporting the Site Manager with layout, procurement, safety, QA/QC, and reporting while coordinating subcontractors and tools on active job sites. You will travel to project sites as required, assist with schedules, material deliveries, and maintain progress drawings and site documentation to ensure

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent with 2 years related construction experience OR 4+ years of relevant construction experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), tablets and smartphones.
• Must possess a strong work ethic and be an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager in layout of building items, primarily structural, civil, process, and architectural items.
• Assist Site Manager in procurement of construction materials and in scheduling deliveries.
• Maintain safety and QA/QC standards and assist with safety meetings and audits.
• Log shop drawings, submittals, and update as-built drawings daily.
• Prepare daily and monthly project reports and facilitate communication with subcontractors.
