Job summary

Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is looking for a Traveling Splicer to handle fiber optic cable installation and splicing as part of a dynamic team in Memphis, TN. This full-time role involves extensive travel, requiring several weeks away at a time, with per diem and full benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a drug screen.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in fiber optic splicing.
• Able to work both individually and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders and specifications.
• Splice in new line and complete project testing.
• Install devices and test fiber optic lines.

Skills

Can-do attitude

Teamwork

Physical fitness (able to lift/pull 80 pounds)

Use of hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, drills)

Experience in fiber optic splicing

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
